Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyov Kirijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eza Nahka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyov Kirijenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Eza Nahka!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirijenko gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Nahka counters with a series of strikes. Kirijenko will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nahka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kirijenko lands a nice shot to the body.
Nahka scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nahka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nahka stalks Kirijenko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kirijenko's face. Kirijenko staggers backwards, shaken.
Nahka misses with a series of wild punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kirijenko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nahka throws a right hand that Kirijenko ducks under and follows up with a left that Kirijenko also avoids with ease.

Nahka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kirijenko throws the left hand but Nahka avoids the punch easily.
Kirijenko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nahka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kirijenko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kirijenko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kirijenko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nahka is looking to escape.

Kirijenko lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kirijenko takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Nahka is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kirijenko trying to control but Nahka is having none of it.
Nahka is bucking up trying to escape but Kirijenko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Kirijenko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nahka is looking to escape.
Nahka wants to get back to his feet.

Kirijenko lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kirijenko lands a big elbow.
Nahka is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lyov Kirijenko dominated that round.

Nahka closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kirijenko throws a lazy head kick
and Nahka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kirijenko slips a straight right by Nahka.
Kirijenko throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kirijenko throws a leg kick but Nahka sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nahka looks to land a combination. Kirijenko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kirijenko dodges the punch combination from Nahka.
Nahka lands with a nice combination. Kirijenko backs away looking to recover.
Kirijenko tries to land a front kick but Nahka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kirijenko tries to land a leg kick but Nahka saw it coming and moves away.

Kirijenko swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Kirijenko avoids a punch combination nicely.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kirijenko - that will leave a mark!
Nahka is breathing heavily.

Kirijenko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nahka was covering up waiting for the punch and Kirijenko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kirijenko forces his way into half guard.
Kirijenko is trying to control. Nahka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kirijenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nahka with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Kirijenko stops Nahka from getting back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kirijenko lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Nahka wants to stand back up but Kirijenko manages to pass into side control.
Kirijenko trying to control the action but Nahka is working from the bottom.

Kirijenko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nahka, who protects the arm well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nahka throws Kirijenko to one side and escapes!
Eza Nahka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kirijenko tries to clinch but Nahka moves away
enabling Nahka to counter with a crisp jab.
Kirijenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Nahka.
Eza Nahka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nahka fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Nahka does no damage.
Kirijenko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nahka ducks under a wild hook from Kirijenko.
Nahka misses with a few strikes there.
Nahka takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Eza Nahka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nahka misses with a wild combination.
Nahka misses with a double jab.
Nahka moves out of range as Kirijenko throws a body kick.
Kirijenko misses with a body kick.
Kirijenko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nahka.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kirijenko throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nahka throws a combination. Kirijenko tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lyov Kirijenko will probably get the nod.

and Nahka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Kirijenko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nahka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nahka scores with a one two! Kirijenko had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kirijenko moves in looking to clinch but Nahka pushes him off.
Nahka keeps the fight on the outside.
Nahka throws a one two combo.
Nahka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Nahka lands a nice shot to the body.
Nahka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Kirijenko counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nahka throws a series of punches but Kirijenko moves out of range.
Nahka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Nahka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kirijenko circles away quickly and effectively.
Nahka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kirijenko takes a swing at Nahka's ribcage but misses.
Kirijenko misses with a wild body shot.
A combination from Nahka does no damage.

Kirijenko closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nahka throws a punch but it's blocked by Kirijenko.
Kirijenko stalls.
Nahka lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kirijenko backwards.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nahka misses with a punch on the inside.
Kirijenko's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Nahka scores with a shot to the side of Kirijenko's head.
Kirijenko is looking for a takedown.
Nahka misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kirijenko tries to break the clinch but Nahka is controlling the position.
Kirijenko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nahka fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyov Kirijenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kirijenko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nahka doesn't seem bothered though.

Kirijenko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Kirijenko moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nahka misses with a looping left.
Nahka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kirijenko.
Kirijenko does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kirijenko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nahka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eza Nahka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kirijenko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Lyov Kirijenko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
