Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marta Szarafin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santos Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Szarafin's entrance music is Kavkaz sila. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Szarafin as he jumps to the side.
Junior closes the distance and clinches up with Szarafin, looking for a takedown. Junior pushes Szarafin against the cage but Szarafin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Szarafin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Szarafin seems to be working for a kimura but Junior defends the submission attempt.

Szarafin is not content to let Junior control the position.

Junior wants to stand but Szarafin is controlling the position.
Szarafin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Szarafin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Marta Szarafin just wasn't active enough.
Junior moves to clinch but Szarafin breaks away
and Szarafin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Junior is breathing heavily.
Szarafin has hold of Junior's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Junior tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Szarafin cranks the arm and Junior screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Junior, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
