The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson sizes up Gordon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jackson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Clint Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gordon back to the cage. Jackson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Jackson cracks Gordon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gordon blocks a low kick nicely.
Jackson feints a jab promting Gordon to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gordon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gordon missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Gordon.

Gordon is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson feints a jab promting Gordon to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gordon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Jackson tries to bum rush Gordon with a series of wild strikes but Gordon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jackson connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Gordon! He's out on his feet! Jackson rushes in and drops Gordon with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
