Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammed Jolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jolly gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jolly tries to pull guard but Smith forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Smith tries to score a body lock takedown but Jolly shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Smith tries to pull guard but Jolly holds him up against the ropes and eventually Smith drops back down to his feet.
Smith with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jolly avoids it really well and circles away. Muhammed Jolly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Smith. Smith moves in looking to clinch but Jolly pushes him off. Jolly closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Jolly pushes Smith against the ropes but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jolly tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jolly to the ground. Jolly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Smith tries to clinch there but Jolly circles away.
Jolly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the ropes. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight stays on the outside here - Jolly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith moves out of range as Jolly throws a body kick.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Jolly, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Jolly against the ropes but Jolly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jolly moves away. A shot to the liver by Smith. Beautiful body shot. Jolly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Jolly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jolly shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Smith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jolly but Jolly pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jolly tries to keep at a distance but Smith has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jolly keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Smith's efforts to push away. Smith pulls Jolly into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smith is on top in guard.
Smith is looking to stand up but Jolly won't let him. Jolly wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position. Smith showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Smith with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jolly is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Smith, into his guard. Jolly stops Smith from standing up. Smith looking to control.
Smith is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Jolly seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jolly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Smith is keeping the position for now.
OK we're going to have a standup here. John Smith hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jolly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jolly misses with a low kick. Jolly fails with a takedown attempt. Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. Jolly tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Jolly manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.

John Smith dominated that round. That's time! Jolly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet. Jolly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A good leg kick by Smith. Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jolly sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat. Jolly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smith as he avoids it easily. Smith clinches up with Jolly and pushes him back against the ropes. Jolly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jolly throws a sloppy head kick and Smith counters with a low kick, right behind Jolly 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jolly avoids the head kick by Smith.
Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Muhammed Jolly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Smith. Jolly shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jolly throws a head kick that misses and Smith counters with an inside leg kick. Smith lands a head kick. Jolly smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jolly sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jolly rushes Smith and presses him up against the ropes. Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smith circles away from the clinch attempt and Smith counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith looks for a takedown but Jolly sprawls well. Smith shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jolly sprawls well. Jolly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Smith gets slowly back to his feet. Smith fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smith circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Smith as Jolly shoots in. Jolly looks to clinch and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jolly falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smith counters with a head kick. That will keep Jolly thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Jolly trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom. Jolly advances to half guard. Smith is not content to let Jolly control the position. Jolly is really struggling to control Smith but he's trying to hold on to the position. Smith trying to control but Jolly postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Smith wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jolly is now in half guard. Jolly will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Smith pushes Jolly off looking to stand but Jolly dives back in and keeps control.
Jolly is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Smith is refusing to be controlled, as Jolly sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jolly tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Smith wants to control but Jolly is keeping busy.
Jolly wants to take a breather but Smith is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Jolly is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Smith sees it coming and defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Muhammed Jolly. Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
