Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Elsworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elsworth comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - Killers . Adamek has chosen I Am The Sword - Motorhead as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Elsworth swivels and escapes.
Adamek gets a clinch.
Adamek fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Adamek takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Tomasz Adamek has been cut.
Elsworth lands a left hand that snaps the head of Adamek backwards.
Elsworth lands a right hand.
A shot in the inside from Elsworth.
Adamek takes an elbow to the forehead.
A nice right hand lands inside from Elsworth.
That has opened up Tomasz Adamek's cut even more.
Adamek is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Elsworth pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rob Elsworth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Adamek.
Adamek goes for a takedown attempt but Elsworth pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Elsworth connects with a leg kick. Adamek looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Elsworth tests Adamek's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Adamek is rocked!
Elsworth lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Adamek is still on wobbly legs! Can Elsworth finish him?
Adamek looks gassed!
Elsworth lands a right hook to the body.
Elsworth fakes the body blow, causing Adamek to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Adamek goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
