Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Math Rastafari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Math Rastafari! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesus Rios! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rastafari with a body punch. A glancing blow. Rios fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rastafari, pushing him back against the cage. Rastafari has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rastafari's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Rastafari is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Rastafari misses with a body punch.
Rastafari breaks from the clinch.
Rastafari takes the fight into the clinch. Rastafari tries a body shot but Rios blocks it.
Rastafari has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rios scores with a shoulder strike. Rastafari breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rastafari misses with a looping left. Rios uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rastafari. Rastafari dodges the punch combination from Rios.
Rios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rastafari's corner calls for a 1-2. Rastafari obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rastafari misses with a lunging right hand
and Rios counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rios. Rios tries to throw a body punch but Rastafari avoids it by throwing Rios back against the cage. Rios stalling in the clinch but Rastafari improves position. Rios misses with the head strike.
Rios tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rastafari's elbow. Rios lands a nice shot to the body. Rios manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Rios works on Rastafari's body with a couple of short punches. Rastafari looking to stall.
Rios is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Rastafari is keeping busy. A bit of stalling here from Rastafari.
Rastafari lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rios backwards. Rios goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A body shot lands from Rios.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rios lands a nice shot to the body. Rastafari is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Rastafari misses with a short punch on the inside. Rios lands a body shot. A nice left hand lands by Rios.
Rastafari working hard to break the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Rios. Rastafari taking a breather. Rios stalling in the clinch but Rastafari improves position. Rios misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rios pushes Rastafari back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Rastafari has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rios is trying to stall.
Rastafari wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rastafari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rastafari throws a big shot that misses. Rastafari tries to clinch there but Rios circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rios takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rios instigates a clinch. A short body shot lands from Rios as the two fighters clinch.
Rios tries to work over Rastafari's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Rios leaning against his opponent.
Rios lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rastafari. Rastafari has had enough of the clinch but Rios keeps him there for the moment. Rios misses with a body punch.
Rastafari tries to throw a body punch but Rios avoids it by throwing Rastafari back against the cage. Rios doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rastafari is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Rios blocks a body shot from Rastafari. Rastafari is trying to force a seperation but Rios has the dominant position. Rios leaning his opponent against the cage. Rastafari is trying to break the clinch but Rios has him pressed against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Rios.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rios lands with a short shot to the head. Rios blocking some punches.
Rastafari doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rios is pushing Rastafari up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Rios lands a shot to the body. Rios lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rastafari backwards. A head punch blocked on the inside by Rastafari. Rios lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rastafari backwards. Rios lands a right hand. Rastafari wants to break free but Rios has control.
Rastafari misses with the head strike.
Rios prevents Rastafari from breaking the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rastafari wants to break the clinch but can't.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rios. Rios misses with some punches.
Rios tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rastafari's elbow. Good body shot from Rios.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesus Rios dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rastafari swings widly with a right hand
and Rios counters with a three punch combo that has Rastafari backing up. Rastafari nods at Rios to acknowledge the strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Rios looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rios cracks the inside of Rastafari's front leg. Rios lands a big head kick that sends Rastafari tumbling to the mat! Rios takes a step backwards and waves Rastafari back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rastafari is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rios steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rastafari. Oh Rastafari is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rios connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Rastafari tumbling to the canvas! Rios pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Rastafari was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jesus Rios! Jesus Rios is the new light heavyweight champion! After winning the bout, Jesus Rios thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
