Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, David Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Williams!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a double jab.
Williams bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Williams tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Williams ducks under a wild hook from Wilson.
Williams sizes up Wilson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.


It looks like David Wilson has been cut.
Alexander Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wilson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Williams drops Wilson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilson looks back up at him and smiles so Williams waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Wilson is rocked!

Williams rushes Wilson and presses him up against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Williams breaks from the clinch.
Wilson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Williams manages to avoid it.
Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Williams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Williams takes the fight into the clinch.
Wilson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Williams.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams has Wilson pushed against the cage.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Williams sends Wilson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Williams is motioning to the referee to let Wilson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


David Wilson's cut is getting worse.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A jab from Wilson misses.
Wilson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Wilson switches off momentarily and Williams cracks him with a monster right hand! Wilson topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Williams dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Williams!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alexander Williams!
Alexander Williams was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
