The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stellben slaps away a takedown attempt from Rogers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Stellben closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stellben lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Rogers is trying to control the position but Stellben postures up.

Rogers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stellben can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

In his post fight interview, George Stellben started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
