Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Keane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gold Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ryan's choice of entrance music: Darude - Sandstorm. Gold Ryan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Padraig Keane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gold Ryan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keane moves out of range as Ryan strikes. Ryan misses with a two punch combination.
Keane connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ryan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Keane's waist but Keane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side. Gold Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keane throws a series of punches but Ryan moves out of range. Keane throws a right and a left that Ryan avoids nicely. Ryan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Keane's waist but Keane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryan off to one side. Ryan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ryan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Keane takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Keane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryan. A looping hook to the body misses from Keane. Ryan does a little dance to reset his feet. Ryan checks a leg kick. Ryan throws a hook but Keane avoids it easily. Keane tests Ryan's chin there with a solid looking shot. A jab from Ryan finds it's way through Keane's defenses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Keane's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ryan drops back looking for a leg! Keane is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Keane manages to kick Ryan off! Ryan jumps back into Keane's guard. Ryan throws an elbow that misses. Keane uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ryan's guard. Nice move by Keane! Keane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Keane got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ryan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Keane has managed to get both his arms back between Ryan's legs - danger averted. Keane wants to pass the guard but Ryan is keeping the position. Keane trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ryan's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Keane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ryan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Keane defends it easily. Ryan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Keane is aware though and is defending well. Ryan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Keane! Keane can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Keane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryan on the ground. Keane is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Ryan prevents Keane from getting the reversal. Ryan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keane bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Ryan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Keane is aware though and is defending well. Ryan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Keane uses it to pass to side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Keane trying to advance position but Ryan counters by regaining guard. Keane trying to control but Ryan is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ryan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ryan is defended easily by Keane. Ryan swinging wildly here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A big right from Ryan misses. Ryan shoots in for a takedown but Keane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Padraig Keane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gold Ryan. Keane stuffs the takedown. Keane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ryan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Keane avoids it really well and circles away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Keane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ryan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ryan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Ryan misses with a double jab
and Keane counters with a three punch combo that has Ryan backing up. Ryan nods at Keane to acknowledge the strikes. Gold Ryan seems to be getting the better of the standup. No joy there for Keane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Keane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Keane, right into the meat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Padraig Keane will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Keane is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ryan asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ryan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Keane wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Keane is looking to reverse the position. Ryan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Keane knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Keane wants to control but Ryan postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keane is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Keane has escaped the position, nice work there. Ryan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Keane gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Keane is trying to maintain the position but Ryan is very close to passing his half guard. Ryan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keane is looking to control Ryan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Keane avoid being mounted? Keane moves into full guard.
Keane is trying to control the position but Ryan postures up. Ryan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Ryan wants to pass the guard but Keane is keeping the position. Ryan is looking to work some ground and pound but Keane has wrist control. Ryan preventing the sweep. Keane is adopting a defensive guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Ryan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan slips nicely into half guard. Ryan wants to free his trapped foot but Keane is holding on for dear life with his legs. Keane pushes Ryan off but Ryan dives into side control.
Ryan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ryan tries for a kimura but Keane is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Gold Ryan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ryan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
