Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenneth Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Mckeown.
Rogers dives in and grabs Mckeown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mckeown pushes down on Rogers's head and hops out.
Mckeown looks for a takedown but Rogers sprawls well.
Mckeown throws a front kick that sends Rogers stumbling back into the cage.
Rogers shoots in but Mckeown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mckeown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rogers as he avoids it easily.
Mckeown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rogers's waist but Rogers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mckeown off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Mckeown. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mckeown rushes Rogers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Mckeown has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rogers uses from the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Mckeown working for a triangle but Rogers defends it easily.
Mckeown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rogers on the ground.
Rogers is pushing down on Mckeown's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mckeown is fighting to maintain full guard but Rogers has managed to sneak the leg through.

Rogers has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Mckeown defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Rogers.
Mckeown is trying to escape the mount.
Rogers looking to control but Mckeown is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mckeown is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Rogers locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mckeown is forced to tap!
