Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sven Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanley Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ramirez's choice of entrance music: Take it in Blood -- Nas. Sven Larsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Larsson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ramirez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Larsson was covering up waiting for the punch and Ramirez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Larsson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramirez is aware though and is defending well.

Ramirez cracks Larsson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Ramirez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Larsson thinking.

and Ramirez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Larsson's guard now.

Larsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ramirez is pushing down on Larsson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Larsson is fighting to maintain full guard but Ramirez has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ramirez shoots in looking for a takedown. Larsson tries to sprawl out of it but Ramirez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Larsson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's time! Larsson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ramirez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Larsson sprawls well initially but Ramirez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Ramirez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hanley Ramirez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ramirez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Hanley Ramirez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
