Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Great Idiot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Great Idiot will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kai Musashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Great Idiot!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idiot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Musashi as he avoids it easily.
Idiot throws a head kick but Musashi moves out of range.
Musashi drives through with a takedown into Idiot's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Idiot throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Musashi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Idiot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Musashi has managed to get both his arms back between Idiot's legs - danger averted.
Idiot looks gassed!
Musashi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Musashi's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Musashi sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Idiot's guard.
Idiot wants to improve his position but Musashi is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Musashi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kai Musashi.
Musashi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Idiot was covering up waiting for the punch and Musashi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Musashi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Musashi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Idiot, up you get!
Musashi closes the distance and clinches.
Musashi breaks from the clinch.
Musashi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Musashi decides to stand back up. Musashi steps back and let's Idiot get back to his feet.
Musashi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Musashi lands in his opponent's guard.

Musashi stands up and waves to Idiot to follow him.
Musashi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Idiot takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Musashi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Musashi decides to stand back up.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Musashi wants the takedown. Idiot is fighting it off but Musashi persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Idiot's guard against the cage.
Idiot isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Musashi stacks Idiot on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Musashi!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kai Musashi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Idiot misses with a takedown attempt
and Musashi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Idiot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Musashi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Idiot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Musashi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Musashi controls from within his opponent's guard.
Musashi gets to his feet - Idiot follows without any prompting.
Idiot is breathing heavily.
Musashi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Musashi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Idiot's guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Musashi stands up from Idiot's guard - Musashi perhaps looking for a knockout.
Musashi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Idiot can do to turn this around?
Musashi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Idiot quickly recovers to half guard.
Musashi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Musashi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Musashi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Musashi in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Idiot tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Musashi!
