4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miguel Alvarez! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Hook. Hook throws a right and a left that Alvarez avoids nicely. Alvarez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Alvarez is working for a submission of some sort.
