Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Finney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doctor Turk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turk clinches with his opponent.

Turk pulls guard successfully.
Turk wants to sweep here but Finney controlling him for the moment.

Turk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Finney is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Turk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Finney's back instead.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Turk has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Finney has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Finney looking very determined here, making life difficult for Turk.

Finney manages to reverse the position and now he's in Turk's guard. Nice work there by Finney.
Turk wants to get back to his feet but Finney is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Finney tries to stand but Turk is controlling from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Finney is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Finney fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Turk closes the distance and clinches up with Finney, looking for a takedown. Turk pushes Finney against the cage but Finney circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Turk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Turk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Finney is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turk is controlling him.

Turk wanted to stand there but Finney had control of the position.

Finney is working an open guard so Turk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Turk shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Finney's guard.

Turk works to advance to full mount. Finney defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
