Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kris Liibeni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Misuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Misuki.
Misuki closes the distance and clinches up with Liibeni, looking for a takedown. Misuki pushes Liibeni against the cage but Liibeni circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Misuki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Misuki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Liibeni is fending him off so far but Misuki persists. Nope, Liibeni circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Misuki.

Liibeni is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Misuki is just riding it out for now. Liibeni eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Liibeni is nestled in close to Misuki, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Liibeni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Misuki pinned against the cage. Misuki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Misuki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Liibeni is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Misuki will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Misuki should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Misuki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Liibeni pushes Misuki off looking to stand but Misuki dives back in and keeps control.

Misuki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liibeni doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Misuki.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Misuki stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Horrible takedown by Liibeni or perhaps it was just good defense by Misuki which made him look bad.

Misuki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Liibeni moves away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close second round but Ken Misuki will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Liibeni's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

It looks like Kris Liibeni has been cut.

Misuki is pushing Liibeni up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Misuki has eaten all the pies!
Liibeni wants to take the fight to the mat but Misuki manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

and Misuki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Misuki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Crunch! Liibeni slams his shin into Misuki's torso.

Liibeni drops down looking for an ankle pick but Misuki pulls his leg out and moves away.

Liibeni decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liibeni is pressing down on Misuki's thigh, looking to free his foot. Misuki is holding on for now.

Liibeni is keen to just control but Misuki is a slippery customer.

We're going to have a standup here because Kris Liibeni wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Liibeni lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Misuki has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Misuki and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Liibeni closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Liibeni will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Liibeni wants to control but Misuki is keeping him busy.
Liibeni remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Misuki throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Liibeni escapes and throws Misuki's legs to the side, diving into side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Liibeni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Liibeni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
