Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingmar Painson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Calado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calado has chosen Guns N' Roses - Paradise City as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingmar Painson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Calado! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calado connects with a single shot there. A punch combination from Calado misses. Calado lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Painson is looking to clinch. Calado will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Calado sizes up Painson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Calado lands with an uppercut that bounces Painson off the cage and back into range. Calado lands a nice hook to Painson's body. Painson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Painson tries to close the distance and clinch but Calado swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Calado keeps the fight on the outside. Calado throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Painson's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Calado goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Painson dodges the punch combination from Calado.
Calado connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Painson wants to clinch. Painson closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calado is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Painson to keep the fight standing. Painson wants to break free but Calado has control.
Calado ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Calado no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Painson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Painson wants to get up but he can't break Calado's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Calado pushes Painson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Painson rushes Calado and presses him up against the cage. Painson throws a knee to the head but misses.

Painson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Painson there as he acknowledges the shot. Painson slips a jab and a cross from Calado.
Calado keeps the fight on the outside. A nice leg kick lands there from Calado. Calado misses with a takedown attempt - Painson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Painson avoids the head kick by Calado.
Painson moves into range and clinches up with Calado. Calado pulls guard effortlessly. Calado is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Painson wants to get back to his feet.

Calado landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Calado seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Painson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Calado is working away from the top position though. Calado wants to take a breather but Painson is having none of it. Calado is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Painson defends it well. Painson is not content to let Calado control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Calado decides to stand and escape the position. Calado is trying hard to land a takedown here. Painson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ingmar Painson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Calado. Painson misses with a double jab
and Calado counters with a body kick. Painson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Calado is looking to clinch. Good leg kick by Calado there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Painson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Calado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Painson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Painson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Calado wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Painson has him pressed against the cage. Calado can't get the takedown.
Calado blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Calado is trying to pull guard but Painson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Calado gets control of Painson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Calado will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Calado trying to control the position.

Horrible takedown by Calado or perhaps it was just good defense by Painson which made him look bad. This has been an exciting period of action! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ingmar Painson. I think Calado has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
