Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Koubra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lieutenans Spasl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Santiago Koubra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lieutenans Spasl! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spasl throws a nice head kick!
Koubra manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Spasl on his heels. He'll look to pass Spasl's guard now, I'm sure. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Koubra sitting in guard here, content to control. Koubra throwing strikes from guard but Spasl blocks nicely. Spasl keeping moving, preventing Koubra from controlling successfully. Koubra showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Santiago Koubra has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Koubra misses with a few strikes there.
Koubra shoots in for a double leg but Spasl sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Koubra takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Spasl throws a head kick that half lands.
Koubra avoids the head kick by Spasl.
Koubra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spasl but Spasl pushes him off and we're back to square one. Spasl pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Koubra uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spasl. Spasl throws a sloppy head kick and Koubra moves out of range easily. Koubra closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Koubra lands in his opponent's guard. Koubra showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Spasl looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koubra's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Santiago Koubra. Koubra tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spasl sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koubra somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santiago Koubra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koubra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Spasl as he jumps to the side. Lieutenans Spasl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Spasl tries a head kick but it misses.
Spasl throws a head kick but Koubra moves out of range.
Koubra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Koubra shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Koubra throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spasl tries to kick Koubra off but Koubra keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Koubra is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Spasl is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Santiago Koubra!
