Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Novik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, S B Marksman!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marksman moves in looking to clinch but Novik pushes him off.
Marksman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marksman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Novik tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Marksman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Marksman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Novik keeps working.
Novik misses with a strike from the bottom.
Novik is not content to let Marksman control the position.
Marksman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Novik is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Novik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marksman on the ground.
Novik stops Marksman from passing to mount.
Marksman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Novik keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Novik pushes Marksman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marksman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marksman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Novik pushes Marksman away with a front kick.
Novik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Marksman's guard.
Novik is breathing heavily.
Novik is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Marksman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Novik is looking to defend but Marksman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Novik! Marksman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Novik taps out and this one is all over!
