Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erik Jones!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pumbleski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jones is looking to clinch.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Erik Jones has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pumbleski is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Jones manages to get to full guard.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Pumbleski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pumbleski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pumbleski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ican Pumbleski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pumbleski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Pumbleski.
Pumbleski tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pumbleski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ican Pumbleski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Jones on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pumbleski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Pumbleski throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
The fighters circling - Pumbleski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Jones counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Pumbleski is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Pumbleski takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jones fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pumbleski throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.

Pumbleski lands a big uppercut and Jones crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jones looks OK. Pumbleski waves Jones back to his feet!

Pumbleski thows a body shot but no joy.
Pumbleski misses with a right hand

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Pumbleski defends the submission attempt.
Jones tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pumbleski.

Jones is stalling here. Pumbleski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jones seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pumbleski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Pumbleski stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pumbleski misses with a two punch combination.
A combination from Pumbleski does no damage.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Pumbleski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pumbleski swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jones counters with a low kick, right behind Pumbleski 's knee.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Pumbleski which made him look bad.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Pumbleski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones fails to land the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ican Pumbleski dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Erik Jones's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pumbleski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pumbleski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pumbleski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ican Pumbleski is winning the standup battle so far.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Pumbleski sprawls well.
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pumbleski pinned against the cage. Pumbleski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ican Pumbleski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Jones.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pumbleski throws a monster overhand right that drops Jones! Pumbleski follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
