Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colt Plum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colt Plum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocky Balboa! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Plum. Plum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Plum rushes Balboa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Balboa jumps into guard, dragging Plum to the mat.
Plum would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Balboa keeping moving, preventing Plum from controlling successfully. Plum has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Plum postures up in Balboa's guard and throws a big left but Balboa blocks it. Plum trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Balboa looking for a sweep. Not yet Balboa, not yet. Balboa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Plum postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plum trying to control the position from guard on top but Balboa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Balboa is on top in guard.

Balboa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Plum is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Colt Plum. Plum tries a head kick but it misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Plum pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Plum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Balboa but Balboa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Balboa works over Plum's head and body with a nice combination. No luck for Balboa with that takedown attempt.

Plum wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Balboa is trying to pull guard but Plum turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Balboa fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Colt Plum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Balboa is looking to take this one to the mat. Balboa tries to pull guard but Plum holds him up against the cage and eventually Balboa drops back down to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Plum's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Plum's jab looks to have found its range, popping Balboa under the eye. Balboa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Balboa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Plum.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Balboa. Balboa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Plum swats away the attempt to clinch by Balboa. Balboa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Plum chopping away at his opponent's legs.

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut. Balboa scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Balboa doesn't manage to clinch there - Plum circles away.
Plum shoots in for a double leg but Balboa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Plum fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rocky Balboa will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Rocky Balboa's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Plum has a takedown stuffed. Balboa stuffs the takedown. No luck for Balboa with that takedown attempt. Rocky Balboa seems to be getting the better of the standup. Balboa checks the leg kick nicely there.
Balboa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Colt Plum is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Plum slaps away a takedown attempt from Balboa, before circling back to the center of the mat. Plum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Plum keeps Balboa at a distance using the push kick. Balboa thows a body shot but no joy. Plum keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Colt Plum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Balboa rushes Plum and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Balboa pulls him back up using the underhooks. Balboa jumps guard but Plum stands there with Balboa around his waist. Balboa gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Plum is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Plum throws a push kick but Balboa slaps the foot to one side. Balboa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Balboa avoids the head kick by Plum.

Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plum avoids a punch combination nicely.

Plum throws a leg kick which misses Balboa's front leg but catches the back leg as Balboa tries to avoid it. Balboa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Plum moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Balboa scores a takedown into full mount! Balboa scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Balboa has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Plum's face.

Balboa throws some wild stikes that Plum manages to avoid easily.

Balboa scoring with strikes but Plum is staying in there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Balboa putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Balboa lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Plum is rocked! A big strike lands for Balboa! That's really hurt Plum and he's turned his back - Balboa keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Balboa jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
