The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake dodges the punch combination from Larsson.

Larsson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Drake shoots in but no luck this time.
Larsson pushes Drake away with a front kick.

Nice combo by Larsson! Oh, that's hurt him - Drake falls to the canvas and Larsson follows him into side control.
It looks like Bobby Drake has been cut.

Larsson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Drake to his feet.

Drake misses with a takedown attempt - Larsson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Drake. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Drake counters with a single leg into guard. Larsson didn't expect that.
Drake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drake drops back looking for a leg! Larsson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Larsson manages to kick Drake off! Drake jumps back into Larsson's guard.
Larsson wants to get back to his feet but Drake is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Larsson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Drake shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Drake was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

You get the feeling that Larsson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Drake moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Larsson has worked his arm free - good work by Larsson!

Drake wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Larsson, who protects the arm well.

Drake has hold of Larsson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Larsson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Drake cranks the arm and Larsson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Larsson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
