The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A choreographed right hand from Valvekov misses the target.
Valvekov shoots in for a takedown but Vissarionovitj shows good takedown defense.
No luck for Valvekov with that takedown attempt.
Valvekov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vissarionovitj uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Valvekov.
Valvekov throws out a powerful jab.
Vissarionovitj forces Valvekov back against the cage and clinches.
Valvekov prevents Vissarionovitj from breaking the clinch.
Vissarionovitj has Valvekov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Valvekov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Valvekov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vissarionovitj breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Vissarionovitj goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Valvekov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Valvekov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Valvekov lands a hook that stumbles Vissarionovitj back into the cage. Valvekov follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Vissarionovitj to the canvas! Valvekov pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Vissarionovitj has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
