Cerdan comes to the cage accompanied by French National Anthem. Damage has chosen South Afrika as his entrance music. Marcel Cerdan could well score a knockout today. The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damage looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Cerdan misses with a straight left.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cerdan checks a leg kick.
Damage blocks a jab.
Damage is looking to score with low kicks.
Cerdan misses with a two punch combination.
Damage thows a left - swing and a miss!
Damage thows a body shot but no joy.
No luck for Damage with that takedown attempt.
Cerdan tries to bum rush Damage with a series of wild strikes but Damage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cerdan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Damage's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cerdan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Damage scrambles back to his feet.
Damage lands a leg kick that knocks Cerdan off balance momentarily.
Marcel Cerdan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cerdan misses with a hook
and Damage makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cerdan really felt that one!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cerdan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cerdan throws a hook but Damage avoids it easily.

Cerdan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Damage.
Cerdan tries to score with a low kick but Damage moves his leg out of the way.

Cerdan looks to land a combination. Damage sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Damage closes the distance and clinches.
Damage is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cerdan pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Damage dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Damage manages to break the clinch.
Cerdan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Damage misses with a hook. Cerdan ducked under it nicely.
Damage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cerdan.
Marcel Cerdan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cerdan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Damage dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Cerdan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Damage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cerdan throws out the jab.

Cerdan grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Damage takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Cerdan cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
