Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe McGaleb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGaleb has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZnhuOEUFXA as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Joe McGaleb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Day! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe McGaleb! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGaleb fails with an attempt to clinch.
McGaleb is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Day gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McGaleb moves into the clinch. McGaleb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McGaleb keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Day takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Day has his takedown stuffed and McGaleb counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vincent Day. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Day wants to hit a switch here but McGaleb passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Day there! McGaleb controlling from the full mount. McGaleb jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Day manages to avoid the submission attempt. Day wants to control but McGaleb postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day regains half guard there - taking advantage of McGaleb's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Day is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGaleb's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGaleb's back! Day struggling to keep hold of the position.
McGaleb holding both Day 's hands and preventing any damage. Day has got his arm under McGaleb's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! McGaleb has spun round into Day's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
McGaleb avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Day is breathing heavily. Day trying to control the position.
McGaleb trying to control but Day is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McGaleb is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! McGaleb stands up from guard. Let's bang!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McGaleb closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Day takes a knee to the side of the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGaleb pulls Day into guard.
McGaleb wants to get back to his feet but Day is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Day has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McGaleb is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Day rolls with it to try and escape but McGaleb cranks on the arm and Day is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
