Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silver Surfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Reeding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Silver Surfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Reeding! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Surfer finds it's target. Reeding is looking to clinch. Reeding tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Reeding. Surfer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Surfer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reeding manages to avoid it. Reeding misses with a head kick.
Reeding throws a head kick but Surfer moves out of range.
Reeding takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reeding throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Surfer catches Reeding with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Reeding throws a sloppy head kick and Surfer moves out of range easily. Surfer takes the fight into the clinch. Surfer tries for a takedown. No joy.
A short body shot lands from Surfer as the two fighters clinch.
Surfer pulls Reeding into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Surfer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Surfer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reeding's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Surfer trying to control the position from guard on top but Reeding is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reeding really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Surfer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Surfer wants to pass the guard but Reeding is keeping the position. Reeding looking for a sweep. Not yet Reeding, not yet. Surfer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reeding swivels though and keeps the full guard. Surfer won't allow Reeding to sweep him here. Surfer forces his way into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Surfer lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Surfer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Reeding with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Surfer seems to be looking for submissions.
Surfer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Reeding defends it well. Reeding is looking to control Surfer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reeding avoid being mounted? Surfer moves into full mount! Reeding won't be happy about that! Surfer goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Reeding is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reeding trying to control but Surfer is working from the bottom. Surfer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Surfer is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reeding looking to pass the guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Surfer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Surfer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reeding doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reeding manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Surfer wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silver Surfer dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Surfer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Reeding looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Reeding throws a head kick that misses. Surfer avoids the head kick by Reeding.
Reeding takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Reeding misses with a head kick.
Reeding throws a lazy head kick and Surfer counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Surfer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Surfer has had enough of the clinch but Reeding keeps him there for the moment. Reeding throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Surfer blocks it with crossed arms.
That's one minute gone in the round. Surfer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reeding smiles and moves away.
Jesse Reeding is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Reeding throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Surfer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reeding manages to avoid it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Surfer, as that shot connected.
Surfer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reeding was covering up waiting for the punch and Surfer finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Surfer forces his way into half guard. Reeding is trying to get back to full guard. Surfer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Surfer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Surfer is looking for a kimura but Reeding is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Surfer to get the leverage. Surfer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Surfer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Surfer passes to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Surfer throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Surfer looking to ground and pound but Reeding is blocking nicely. Surfer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reeding's face.
Surfer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Reeding to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Reeding shrugs it off. Surfer moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Reeding has worked his arm free - good work by Reeding!
Surfer tries to score with some ground and pound. Reeding controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Surfer advances nicely into full mount. Surfer unloads with some shots from mount but Reeding bucks and avoids them well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Surfer cracks Reeding with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reeding tries to get back to half guard but can't. Reeding is breathing heavily. Surfer has hold of Reeding's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Reeding manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Surfer is landing with some decent strikes but Reeding is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Surfer is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Reeding has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Surfer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Reeding can do to turn this around? Surfer pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Surfer throws some wild stikes that Reeding manages to avoid easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silver Surfer dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Surfer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Surfer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Surfer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Surfer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Surfer with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Surfer is landing with some decent strikes but Reeding is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Reeding is in a horrible position here. Surfer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Reeding is rocked! Reeding takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Surfer cracks Reeding with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
