The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zavickas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Zavickas is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Black Bear looking for submissions off his back.
Black Bear is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Zavickas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Zavickas's back!
Black Bear controlling well, preventing Zavickas from escaping the position.
Zavickas manages to reverse the position and now he's in Black Bear's guard. Nice work there by Zavickas.
Zavickas wants to control from the top but Black Bear keeps moving.
Black Bear is looking to sinch up a triangle. Zavickas throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Black Bear's body to avoid the submission. Black Bear has instead reached around Zavickas's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Black Bear arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
