Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Bille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Othon Lanchaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Bille! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Othon Lanchaster! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lanchaster scores with a kick to the midsection. Lanchaster shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lanchaster is trying to work for a kimura but Bille is defending well.

Lanchaster content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. This has been an exciting period of action! Lanchaster stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bille to get to his feet.

Lanchaster gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lanchaster throwing shots but Bille is blocking nicely. Lanchaster not doing much here.
Bille tries to kick Lanchaster off but Lanchaster keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bille wants to control but Lanchaster is keeping busy and won't allow it. Lanchaster is trying to control the action in half guard but Bille is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Lanchaster looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Bille won't allow Lanchaster to pass to mount. Bille tries to roll over but Lanchaster keeps him under control. Bille is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lanchaster trying to control the pace. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bille tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bille misses with a looping left. Lanchaster throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bille tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lanchaster is in Bille's guard. Bille trying to keep a closed guard but Lanchaster is proving a slippery customer.
Lanchaster engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bille knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lanchaster on the ground. Bille wants to stand but Lanchaster is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bille keeping full guard, as Lanchaster tries to pass. Lanchaster gets to his feet. Bille looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bille. Lanchaster drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lanchaster wants to control from the top but Bille keeps moving. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lanchaster works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lanchaster stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Bille throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lanchaster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lanchaster avoids the head kick by Bille.
Bille throws a looping overhand right but Lanchaster ducks down to avoid it. This has been an exciting period of action! Bille gets caught napping as Lanchaster dives in and scores a takedown. Bille manages to retain guard. Bille keeping moving, preventing Lanchaster from controlling successfully. Lanchaster slips nicely into half guard. Lanchaster stops Bille from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lanchaster slips a nice elbow through Bille's hands, connecting with Bille's forehead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lanchaster stalling. Lanchaster seems to be working for a kimura but Bille defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Othon Lanchaster dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lanchaster fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bille, pushing him back against the cage. Lanchaster breaks the clinch.
Lanchaster blocks the body kick.
Lanchaster clinches up with Bille and pushes him back against the cage. Lanchaster has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bille uses from the top position. Lanchaster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lanchaster controlling the position. Lanchaster tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lanchaster controlling Bille's posture. Lanchaster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lanchaster is pulling down on Bille's head. It's preventing any offense from Bille, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danny Bille has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Lanchaster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lanchaster moves out of range of the body kick from Bille.
Lanchaster scores a takedown into full mount! Lanchaster content just to control the position here. Lanchaster working the ground and pound effectively.
Lanchaster is working for a guillotine from mount but Bille frees his head quite easily.
Bille is trying to stand. Lanchaster controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lanchaster wants to control the pace but Bille is squirming around nicely. Bille keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lanchaster is in the full mount, landing strikes. Lanchaster controlling the pace for now. Lanchaster punishing his opponent with strikes. Lanchaster landing strikes, looking to finish! Lanchaster get's back to his feet. Othon Lanchaster is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lanchaster shoots for a takedown but Bille saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bille looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bille throws a chopping leg kick but Lanchaster manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Lanchaster has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lanchaster misses with a few strikes there.
Bille throws the kick towards the body but Lanchaster avoids it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bille throws a half hearted mid kick. Lanchaster takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lanchaster shoots in and bounces Bille off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lanchaster stops Bille from standing up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lanchaster trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lanchaster trying to control the position from guard on top but Bille is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Othon Lanchaster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lanchaster drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lanchaster is pushing down on Bille's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bille is fighting to maintain full guard but Lanchaster has managed to sneak the leg through. Lanchaster is looking to take a break and control but Bille is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bille won't allow Lanchaster to pass to mount. Lanchaster is looking for a kimura but Bille is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lanchaster to get the leverage. Bille is trying to stand up here but Lanchaster is controlling him well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lanchaster lands a nice short elbow. Bille is refusing to be controlled, as Lanchaster sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bille wants to stand back up but Lanchaster manages to pass into side control.
Lanchaster is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Lanchaster trying to control the position but Bille is working away. Bille wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Bille is looking for a sweep. Lanchaster advances nicely into full mount.

Bille wants to try and get back to his feet. Lanchaster working for a submission but Bille is keeping him at bay. Lanchaster with the ground and pound from mount. Lanchaster wants to control the pace but Bille is squirming around nicely. Lanchaster throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bille because Lanchaster loaded up on that one. Lanchaster thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bille is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lanchaster looking to control and managing it successfully. Bille holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lanchaster tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Lanchaster lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Lanchaster controlling from the full mount. Let's hope that Lanchaster has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lanchaster prevents Bille from getting the reversal. Lanchaster takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Danny Bille has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lanchaster cracks Bille with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lanchaster looking to control and managing it successfully. Lanchaster with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bille is squirming around, avoiding Lanchaster's attempts to control the action. Lanchaster takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lanchaster trying to control but Bille is having none of it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bille tries to buck Lanchaster off but he can't manage it.
And that's the end of the fight! Othon Lanchaster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lanchaster has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
