Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Peterson moves out of range easily.
Peterson leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Peterson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Peterson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silva to the mat! Silva manages to get full guard.
Peterson pushing down on Silva's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Peterson slows the pace down in half guard.

Peterson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Peterson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Peterson moves into full mount! Silva won't be happy about that!
Peterson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peterson quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Peterson but it's paid off an Silva is forced to tap! Nice work by Peterson.
