PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arvid Nordemar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lipsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lipsky comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Comme Un Enfante kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipsky throws a push kick but Nordemar slaps the foot to one side.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nordemar.
Nordemar blocks a low kick nicely.
Nordemar looks for the body kick but Lipsky saw that one coming.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lipsky crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nordemar - the referee stops the clock and Lipsky gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nordemar. Lipsky manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Matt Lipsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Lipsky in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
