Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Jnr Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toyama Tokonava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Calvin Jnr Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toyama Tokonava!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tokonava but Tokonava pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fisher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tokonava swivels and escapes.
Tokonava misses with a head kick.
Tokonava fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tokonava checks a leg kick nicely.
Fisher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Calvin Jnr Fisher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tokonava stuffs the takedown.
Toyama Tokonava seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fisher is defended easily by Tokonava.
Tokonava throws a combination that misses
and Tokonava takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Fisher gets tackled into the cage by Tokonava. Tokonava maintains the clinch.

Tokonava pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Tokonava bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Fisher prevents Tokonava from improving position.

Tokonava decides to stand back up.

Tokonava dives in and scores a takedown into Fisher's guard.
Tokonava is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fisher might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fisher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fisher is breathing heavily.
Fisher tries to stand and escape but Tokonava is controlling the position.

Tokonava throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tokonava has his hands on Fisher's head, controlling the position.

Tokonava has his foot on Fisher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fisher works his way back into a safe position though.

Tokonava uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Tokonava tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tokonava forces Fisher back against the cage and clinches.

Tokonava escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tokonava drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fisher tries to escape but Tokonava is in control.
Tokonava cracks Fisher with a big elbow.

Tokonava is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Fisher is trying to improve his position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fisher is being controlled here.
Fisher manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Tokonava is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tokonava flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Toyama Tokonava dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Tokonava shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fisher's guard.

Tokonava fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fisher to the ground. Tokonava is now in Fisher's guard.

Tokonava has gone for a leg lock! Fisher slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tokonava's guard.

Tokonava is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fisher is aware though and is defending well.

Tokonava lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fisher!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tokonava cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fisher tries to reverse the position but Tokonava maintains control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tokonava putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Toyama Tokonava showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Tokonava moves into the clinch.
Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tokonava avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Tokonava decides to pull guard.
Fisher looking to sit in guard and control but Tokonava gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tokonava engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Tokonava distracts Fisher with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Fisher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tokonava can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tokonava is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fisher has momentary wrist control but Tokonava slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tokonava looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fisher not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Tokonava decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Tokonava's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fisher tries to break free but Tokonava pushes him back against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tokonava connects with a nice short shot to Fisher's temple.

Tokonava looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fisher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tokonava wants to work for an arm triangle but Fisher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Toyama Tokonava comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tokonava has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Toyama Tokonava thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
