Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Greene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Dummy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maurice Greene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Crash Dummy!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene slips under a jab from Dummy.
Dummy swinging wildly here.

Dummy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Greene circles away quickly and effectively.
Greene displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dummy throws out the jab.
Dummy misses with a right hand

and Greene counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dummy!
Greene pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Greene has hold of Dummy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dummy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Greene looking to secure an arm triangle but Dummy defends it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Greene tries to control but Dummy wriggling away.

Greene thowing shots but they're missing.
Greene has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Greene is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dummy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Greene misses with a head shot.
Greene raining down hammerfists from mount.
Dummy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Greene looking to control but Dummy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Greene wants to finish this one by submission but Dummy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Greene.
Greene throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Greene can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dummy is looking to escape.
Dummy is working to get back to half guard.
Poor strikes thrown by Greene there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Greene thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Dummy working to try and regain half guard.
Greene controlling the pace for now.
Dummy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Greene.

Greene has control of Dummy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dummy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dummy is trying to escape the mount.

Greene landing strikes from the mount.


It looks like Crash Dummy has been cut.
Dummy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Greene. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Greene connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Greene goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dummy turns into him and now he's in Greene's guard.

Greene is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Dummy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Greene decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dummy's guard.

Greene passes Dummy's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Greene is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dummy defends it well.

Greene is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Greene not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Greene is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Greene thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Greene seems to be looking for submissions.
Greene is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dummy can do to turn this around?

Greene looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dummy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Greene seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dummy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Greene is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.


Dummy is rocked!
Maurice Greene overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Greene is trying for a kimura here. Dummy looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Greene wins by kimura!
