The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamalainen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knox.
Hamalainen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Knox is in trouble now - Hamalainen has advanced to mount!
Hamalainen trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hamalainen lands a big shot there that rocks Knox but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hamalainen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Knox wants to hold on but Hamalainen pushes him away.
Hamalainen prevents Knox from getting the reversal.
Knox is squirming around, avoiding Hamalainen's attempts to control the action.
Hamalainen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Knox's face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hamalainen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Knox looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Hamalainen.
Knox is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hamalainen lands a big shot to the head and Knox winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

A determined Jukko Hamalainen didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
