The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

LePew throws a strike but Mulroney rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mulroney is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
LePew has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mulroney is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for LePew.
Mulroney is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Mulroney fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and LePew has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

LePew ducks right into an uppercut from Mulroney.

Mulroney connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mulroney lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Both fighters circling a little - Mulroney finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mulroney feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits LePews jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

LePew throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mulroney's waist but Mulroney gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LePew off to one side.

I've got Mulroney winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
