Mendez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rihanna - We Found Love ft. Calvin Harris. The crowd seem to be enjoying Diesel's choice of entrance music: The State Of Massachusetts . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Diesel throws a right and a left that Mendez avoids nicely.
Diesel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mendez moves away.
Mendez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Diesel counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Diesel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mendez at a distance.
Diesel circles away from the clinch attempt
and Diesel counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mendez! Diesel lets Mendez back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Mendez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mendez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Diesel counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
