Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Florin Chernat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernat looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Volkov throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Florin Chernat has been cut.
Chernat takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Volkov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chernat throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Volkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Chernat finishes the takedown easily into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Chernat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Volkov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chernat has managed to get both his arms back between Volkov's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Volkov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chernat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Volkov wants to sweep but no luck.
Chernat looking to pass the guard.
Volkov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Volkov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Volkov wants to stand but Chernat is controlling the position.
Volkov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Chernat doesn't defend quickly enough and Volkov has managed to lock this one up! Can Chernat escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Volkov on a fantastic submission victory.
