Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arsene Wenger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brij Khali had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Arsene Wenger!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khali looks to land a combination but Wenger avoids it well.
Khali throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Khali throws a hook to the side of Wenger's head but Wenger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Khali swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

so Wenger counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wenger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Wenger looking to sit in guard and control but Khali gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

and Wenger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Khali's guard.

Khali is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Wenger moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Khali has worked his arm free - good work by Khali!

Khali regains half guard there - taking advantage of Wenger's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Wenger wants to work for an arm triangle but Khali is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Wenger is trying to control the action in half guard but Khali is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Wenger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Khali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wenger might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Khali kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Wenger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
