The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stringer throws a head kick but Nilsson moves out of range.
Stringer waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Nilsson.
Stringer tries a low kick but Nilsson avoids it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nilsson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stringer - the referee stops the clock and Nilsson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stringer. Nilsson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stringer throws a right hand that Nilsson ducks under and follows up with a left that Nilsson also avoids with ease.
Nilsson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Daniel Nilsson has been cut.
Stringer throws the left hand but Nilsson avoids the punch easily.
Nilsson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nilsson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Stringer throws a hook but Nilsson avoids it easily.

Nilsson closes the distance and clinches up with Stringer, looking for a takedown. Nilsson pushes Stringer against the cage but Stringer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stringer cracks Nilsson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Nilsson avoids the head kick by Stringer.

Nilsson needs to keep his hands up - Stringer had a free shot at his head there.

Stringer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Stringer throws a series of punches but Nilsson avoids them all with ease.

Nilsson tries for a takedown but Stringer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Avon Stringer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Nilsson.
