The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyfter misses with a few strikes there.
Gillespie is looking to clinch but Lyfter is avoiding it.
Gillespie lands a slapping body shot.

Lyfter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gillespie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lyfter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gillespie circles away quickly and effectively.

Lyfter throws a series of punches but Gillespie avoids them all with ease.
Gillespie tries to clinch there but Lyfter circles away.

Gillespie moves into the clinch successfully.
Lyfter is trying to break the clinch but Gillespie has him pressed against the cage.

Lyfter manages to break the clinch.
Gillespie throws a lazy right hand but Lyfter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gillespie digs a good hook to Lyfter's body.
Gillespie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lyfter is breathing heavily.
Gillespie tries to bum rush Lyfter with a series of wild strikes but Lyfter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gillespie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gillespie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lyfter darts in and clinches Gillespie up against the cage.
Lyfter keeps control of Gillespie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lyfter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Gillespie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lyfter moves in looking to clinch but Gillespie pushes him off.

Gillespie cracks Lyfter with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gillespie has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lyfter to stand back up!

Lyfter is rocked!
Gillespie cracks Lyfter on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lyfter falls backwards against the cage. Gillespie follows up with more strikes that drop Lyfter to his knees. Gillespie keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lyfter! This one is all over!
