And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaits misses with a straight right.
Ribiero doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vaits makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Vaits scores with a jab.
Ribiero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vaits.
Ribiero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vaits napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Vaits is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ribiero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ribiero tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ribiero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vaits, who protects the arm well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vaits is trying to get back to half guard.

Ribiero has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Vaits is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ribiero yanks on the arm and Vaits is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ribiero.
