Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ville Kuukkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuukkeli comes to the cage accompanied by a-ha - Take On Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ville Kuukkeli! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leo Clarke! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarke swings for the body but Kuukkeli moves out of range.
Clarke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kuukkeli slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Clarke working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kuukkeli's head. Kuukkeli lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clarke! Clarke can't escape the position.
Kuukkeli lands a big shot there that rocks Clarke but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Clarke regains half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Clarke looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kuukkeli wants to take a breather but Clarke is having none of it.

Clarke missing with the ground and pound from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Clarke working the head and body with strikes. Kuukkeli is trying to get back to full guard. Clarke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kuukkeli does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Clarke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Clarke not landing any meaningful shots this time. Clarke winds up and cracks Kuukkeli with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Clarke is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Clarke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Clarke is working for a submission of some sort.

Kuukkeli is trying to get back to full guard. Kuukkeli striking from half guard on the bottom. Clarke tries to pass to full mount but Kuukkeli defends it. Kuukkeli trying to control here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kuukkeli looking for submissions off his back. Clarke is looking for a kimura here.

Leo Clarke dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kuukkeli shoots in but no luck this time. Kuukkeli pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clarke stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clarke wants it to stay on the feet. Kuukkeli checks a leg kick. Clarke looks to land a body kick but Kuukkeli moved away. Kuukkeli swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kuukkeli takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Clarke misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kuukkeli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clarke tries to avoid it but Kuukkeli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clarke to the ground. Clarke escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ville Kuukkeli. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuukkeli ducks right into an uppercut from Clarke. Clarke shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kuukkeli is trying to defend but Clarke finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Clarke winds up and cracks Kuukkeli with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Clarke looks to land a strike but Kuukkeli avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Clarke throwing strikes from guard but Kuukkeli blocks nicely. Clarke trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuukkeli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clarke lands a couple of decent looking shots. Leo Clarke has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clarke slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Clarke scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kuukkeli to see if he's OK. Kuukkeli tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Clarke wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Clarke scoring with punches and elbows. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kuukkeli is trying to control Clarke's posture but Clarke avoids it. Kuukkeli is looking to regain half guard here but Clarke keeps moving and retains side control. Clarke cracks Kuukkeli with a big right hand but Kuukkeli just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
