And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Block Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker misses with a body shot.

and Liddell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Parker forces Liddell back against the cage and clinches.
Liddell is trying to break the clinch but Parker is controlling him.

Parker lands with a right to the head.
Parker throws a head punch that misses.

Parker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Parker manages to end up in side control.
Liddell is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liddell is trying to control Parker's posture but Parker avoids it.

Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Parker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Parker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Liddell seems a little lost for a moment, as Parker dominates the positioning.

Parker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Liddell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Parker in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Liddell is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
