Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benton tries to land a front kick but Countryman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Countryman throws a head kick but Benton moves out of range.

Benton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Benton pulls guard successfully.
Benton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Countryman's guard.
Benton wants to control from the top but Countryman keeps moving.

Countryman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Benton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
