Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between charlie bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and wayne carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
carter shoots in for a takedown but bishop shows good takedown defense.
bishop clinches with his opponent.
bishop tightens his grip and picks carter up, before dumping him to the ground. carter manages to land in guard.
carter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
bishop gets to his feet - carter follows without any prompting.
bishop closes the distance and lands a one-two.
carter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
carter shoots in but no luck this time.
charlie bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of wayne carter.
bishop rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
bishop throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around carter's waist but carter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing bishop off to one side.
charlie bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
bishop dips to his left and cracks carter with an uppercut!
bishop moves in looking to clinch but carter pushes him off.
carter wants to clinch
and bishop counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops carter! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by bishop!
