The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travis scoring well with a low kick there.
Christian scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like John Travis has been cut.
Christian dives in and scores a takedown into Travis's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Travis holds on and takes a little breather.

Christian stays in close to Travis's body and controls the position.

John Travis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Travis pushes Christian off and gets back to his feet.

Travis is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Christian pulls his head out easily.

Travis kicks Christian off and gets back to his feet.

Travis shoots in and bounces Christian off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Travis is nestled in close to Christian, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Travis seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Christian is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
