Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Anderson Spider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Rj Paned! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spider lands with a right hand. Anderson Spider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spider cracks a nice hook into Paned's ribs. Paned clinches with his opponent.
Spider misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Paned wants to get back to striking at distance but Spider won't allow it.
Spider lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Rj Paned has been cut. Spider has had enough of the clinch but Paned keeps him there for the moment. Spider is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Spider tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Paned is trying to force a seperation but Spider has the dominant position. Spider tries to stall but Paned uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Paned turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Paned manages to end up in side control. Spider is trying to control Paned's posture but Paned avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spider is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Paned working away. Paned works to advance to full mount. Spider defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Paned landing strikes from the mount. Spider taking shots to the head. Paned is standing up, even though he is in mount. Anderson Spider is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spider shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Paned eats them both and turns towards Spider to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Spider lands a head kick!
Spider is breathing heavily. Paned fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Spider to the ground. Paned is now in Spider's guard. Paned chips away with some ground and pound. Panedis looking to pass into half guard but Spider pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Spider is in guard. Spider will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Paned scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Paned should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Spider throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Paned swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Spider gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Paned to score an easy takedown into full guard. Spider controls Paned momentarily but Paned frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paned forces his way into half guard. Paned is taking a breather. Spider says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Paned not landing any meaningful shots this time. Spider is trying to stand back up but Paned is controlling him

That's four minutes gone in the round. Paned works his foot free and advances to mount. Paned controlling from the full mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rj Paned dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rj Paned's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Spider fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Spider connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Paned avoids the head kick by Spider.
Spider swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Paned is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Spider stopping the sweep attempt from Paned.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spider would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Paned will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Paned seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Spider wants to stand but Paned is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spider plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Paned shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Paned controlling his opponent. Paned goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Spider turns into him and now he's in Paned's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paned wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Paned is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Spider being controlled here momentarily. Spider wants to get up but he can't break Paned's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spider stopping the sweep attempt from Paned. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Paned has eaten all the pies! Paned trying to control the position here.
Rj Paned has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Spider throws a head kick but Paned moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spider comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Spider throws a head kick but Paned moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Spider misses with a body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Spider there. Spider throws a right and a left that both miss. Paned has closed the distance and engaged Spider in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Spider tries to pull guard but Paned holds him up against the cage and eventually Spider drops back down to his feet.

Paned has Spider pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Paned pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Spider tumbling to the mat - Paned dives into Spider's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paned content to stall in guard here. Spider isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Paned stacks Spider on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Paned! Paned looks up at the clock and then as Spider takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Paned smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paned decides to stand up, so the ref orders Spider to his feet. Spider is looking to land body kicks. Paned darts in and clinches Spider up against the cage. Paned turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Paned manages to end up in side control. Paned tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Paned stands up and beckons Spider to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Paned. This has been an exciting period of action! Paned in side control, just content to control the action for now. Paned working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spider is being controlled here.
And that's the end of the fight! Rj Paned comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Paned winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
