Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hendo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Darude- Sandstorm. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hendo Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dave Terry! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz moves into the clinch. Terry is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Terry tries to pull guard but Diaz holds him up against the cage and eventually Terry drops back down to his feet.
Diaz lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Dave Terry has been cut. Diaz holding his opponent close, against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. A bit of stalling here from Diaz.
Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Diaz dives in and grabs Terry's left leg, looking for a takedown. Terry pushes down on Diaz's head and hops out. Diaz lands a two punch combo.
A combination from Terry does no damage. Terry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Terry wants it to stay on the feet. Diaz misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz rushes Terry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Diaz wants to clinch. Diaz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Terry.
Diaz lands a nice looking body shot.
Terry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Diaz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Terry uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.
Terry fails to land with a series of punches.
Terry shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diaz's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Terry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Terry won't allow Diaz to sweep him here. Terry trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Terry gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch but Terry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Terry pushes him off. Diaz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Terry but Terry pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hendo Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Terry misses. Diaz tries for a takedown but Terry circles away easily and Terry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Terry. Come on Terry - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Diaz looking to slow down the pace here. Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diaz wants to clinch up but Terry keeps it at a distance. Terry does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Diaz wants to stand but Terry has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Terry wants to get back to his feet but Diaz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Diaz won't allow Terry to sweep him here.

Terry is looking for a triangle but Diaz pushes his legs off easily.
Diaz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Terry is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Terry looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diaz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Diaz postures up in Terry's guard and throws a big left but Terry blocks it. Diaz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Diaz is looking to stand up but Terry won't let him. Terry wants to stand but Diaz is controlling the position. Terry is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Terry, up you get! Terry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Terry somewhat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diaz. Terry defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diaz. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Terry takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Diaz fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hendo Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Terry has Diaz up against the cage in a clinch.

Diaz looks to land a combination but Terry avoids it well. Terry leaves Diaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Diaz closes the distance and clinches.

Diaz will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Terry up against the cage. Terry has Diaz pressed against the cage, preventing Diaz from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Diaz landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Terry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Diaz lunges at Terry with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Terry's hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Diaz looks to throw the jab but Terry is out of range. Hendo Diaz is winning the standup battle so far. Terry throws a one two combo.
Terry throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Hendo Diaz will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dave Terry's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Terry has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Diaz with a lazy takedown attempt and Terry counters with a shoot takedown. Diaz fights it but they end up in guard. Diaz is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Terry stands and steps away. Diaz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Terry throws a leg kick but Diaz sees it coming and moves out of range. Terry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Diaz is fending him off so far but Terry persists. Nope, Diaz circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Diaz clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz swats away the attempt to clinch by Terry. Diaz throws a half hearted mid kick. Diaz is looking to clinch but Terry is avoiding it.
Terry throws a leg kick that is checked and Diaz makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Diaz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Terry moves into the clinch. Terry blocks the elbow strike.
Terry is trying to pull guard but Diaz has him pressed against the cage. Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Terry circles away from the clinch attempt and Terry counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that. Terry is trying to get an arm triangle but Diaz is defending well. This has been an exciting period of action! Diaz pushes Terry away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Terry gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Dave Terry has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is trying to get back to half guard. Terry advances nicely into full mount. Terry takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Diaz is looking to improve his position but Terry isn't that keen on the idea. Hendo Diaz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Terry is working for a guillotine from mount but Diaz frees his head quite easily.
Terry throws some wild stikes that Diaz manages to avoid easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terry throwing strikes but Diaz uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Terry is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diaz is just riding it out for now. Terry eventually gives up the hold. Terry works his way into side control. Dave Terry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diaz takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Terry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Diaz has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
