Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lie Die (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomasz Adamek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lie Die! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamek takes a body punch but keeps moving. Adamek swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Die counters with a body kick. Adamek throws a left and a right that both miss
and Die counters with a nice uppercut. Adamek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Die to counter with a crisp jab. Die shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Adamek is trying to defend but Die finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Die working over Adamek with some ground and pound. Adamek looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Adamek is trying to stand back up but Die is controlling him
Die frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Adamek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Die on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Die looking to finish Adamek with some ground and pound. This is bad for Adamek! Die controlling from the full mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Die has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Adamek is bucking up trying to escape but Die cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Adamek is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Die controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Die has hold of Adamek's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Adamek manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Adamek tries to hold on but Die postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Die looking to finish Adamek with some ground and pound. This is bad for Adamek! Die landing strikes, looking to finish! Die wants to finish this one by submission but Adamek is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Die. Die lands a heavy elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Die controlling from the full mount. Die working Adamek over with strikes here. Die tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like Die might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Die has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Adamek is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lie Die! Lie Die was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
