Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George St Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Minoru Uesugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think St Taylor might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ne Compare Pas. Uesugi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Fuel. Minoru Uesugi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with George St Taylor's chin.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Minoru Uesugi! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uesugi connects with a solid leg kick. St Taylor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. George St Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uesugi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

St Taylor misses with a takedown and Uesugi counters with a series of strikes. St Taylor will be more careful next time no doubt. St Taylor needs to keep his hands up - Uesugi had a free shot at his head there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Uesugi misses the shot to the body. St Taylor shoots in for a takedown but Uesugi shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George St Taylor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uesugi throws a nice looking combination but St Taylor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A punch combination from Uesugi misses. St Taylor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uesugi.
Nice defenses there by St Taylor. Uesugi cracks St Taylor with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. No luck for St Taylor with that takedown attempt. Uesugi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but St Taylor manages to avoid it. Some wild striking there from Uesugi.
Uesugi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A swing and a miss from Uesugi. St Taylor looks for a takedown but Uesugi sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Taylor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Uesugi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. St Taylor is breathing heavily. Uesugi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
St Taylor with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Uesugi to score with a decent uppercut. Uesugi scores with a head kick.
St Taylor is rocked! Uesugi looks to score with a jab to the body but St Taylor is just out of range. Oh St Taylor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Uesugi lands a big right hand that sends St Taylor crashing to the mat! Uesugi stays standing though and waves St Taylor back to his feet! This is turning into a torrid day at the office for St Taylor. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uesugi circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops St Taylor to the canvas! St Taylor doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Uesugi keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
