Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anthony McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shileds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McKenzie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Manchester Orchestra - Virgin. Shileds has chosen Remeber the Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anthony McKenzie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Shileds! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKenzie lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Jack Shileds has been cut. McKenzie moves out of range as Shileds throws a body kick.
McKenzie scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McKenzie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McKenzie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shileds tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McKenzie swivels and escapes. McKenzie misses with a body kick. Shileds takes one to the side of the head.
Shileds on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Shileds takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shileds looks gassed! McKenzie tries to keep at a distance but Shileds has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKenzie wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shileds has him pressed against the cage. McKenzie lands a right hand. McKenzie wants to break the clinch but can't.
A right handed body shot lands from McKenzie.
McKenzie is trying to break the clinch but Shileds is controlling him. McKenzie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Shileds fails to pull guard.
Anthony McKenzie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Shileds. With the two fighters working up against the cage, McKenzie just misses with a elbow thrown towards Shileds's brow. McKenzie working some nice short punches in the clinch. A frustrated look appears on McKenzie's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKenzie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McKenzie scores with a jab. Shileds acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Shileds's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McKenzie connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shileds scrambles back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from McKenzie finds it's way through Shileds's defenses.
Shileds is rocked! McKenzie walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Shileds drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! McKenzie swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Shileds's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony McKenzie! Anthony McKenzie seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
