The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akbar darts in and clinches Highwind up against the cage.
Akbar has Highwind pressed against the cage, preventing Highwind from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Akbar tries to work over Highwind's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Akbar stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Highwind looking to stall.
Akbar can't find room to land a body shot as Highwind controls the action.
Akbar stalls.
Akbar struggles to land a body shot inside as Highwind controls his hands.
Highwind misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Akbar.
Akbar drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Akbar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Highwind!
Akbar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Highwind can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
